Hi guys!!!

I come to you coz I dont know which one of these two boards will suit me best.

Im a 62kg rider, Crossbow 9m and Switchy 7m and Im after a board to go faster and more upwind than my Naish Skater 5.9.
Will be used in choppy conditions and small waves, for bigger...I have the Skater.
From 15knots to 25+++

Im naturally thinking bout the 54 due to my light weight but maybe the 60 is better...
As well as the 54 can be setup on quad configuration with "racing" fins so maybe that will make the 54 faster in quad than tri.
I dont know, thats why Im asking you for some advices!!

Thx

Andy

It is simple: Sector V3 54. Get it with 3 "surfy" fins and when you decide to go for the moon, get 4 "racy" fins (you may find that you don't need them).

With your weight steady 10+ knots (with quad fins) is a possibility once you get used to the board

It is an awesome board

Cheers

I second that...
54 100%

I carry 54 and 60 in the van all the time and the 54 is the first one I go to if I see a breaking wave of it looks like I will have enough power to lark around and jump.

Also, it's debatable if the 60 would help that much on the low end sue to your weight.. certainly if you put 4 fins in your 54 you would go stupidly early, but like borist says, stick to the three stock fins it is supplied with...

This is a no brainer. 54. Even your weight would allow a 54 if you just wanted to cruise in light wind. Add chop and waves, then 54 without a doubt. Love mind and I'm 77kg. Wish I was 62. What's ya biggest kite and what winds do you want to get out in?

Thank you very much guys!!

Their is a thing to consider as well, its that the all "low end" stuff doesnt get my interest.
Indeed, I never go out under 15knots and most of the time I wait till 17knots.

The goal is to go fast in chop, with good upwind abilities.

Westozzi> my biggest kite is a Crossbow 9m

well, that's just the thing... sector boards open up lower wind ranges.. I'm about 80kg and when in Europe I use Sector 52 as my light wind board with larger fin set... it is ton of fun to blast around in high speed, long distances, jumping on 9.5 when other kiters are staring at you from the shore..
Of course it is great in higher wind speeds, just faster...

For your use (15 knots and more in chop) 54 might feel a bit big and bouncy at first (S60 would be way too big for you). The board likes to be ridden fast, skimming tops of the chop. I found it lot easier to just go for it and when at speed, hang more of the kite and shift more weight from your feet into the harness. It's a blast :D
