Thanks. I appreciate the feedback on each kites jumping abilities.
Damn...that looks like a really comprehensive 2013 Rally discussion! Too bad I can't read any of it...ulx wrote:it has been done in germany. one guy modified a 14 and one a 12 i think. there are pics, too. and i think were both quite happy. http://surfforum.oase.com/showthread.php?t=124784

Well, I've only had one session on my surfboard and that was with the 14m. The other rides were with the Sector just blasting around and jumping. The Rally was better than the 2012 SB mainly due to the turning speed. I would say the drift was similar. I'm not a huge fan of riding my surfboard(Cab Skillet 5'6") with 14m kites. Id rather ride the sector.TonyL wrote:Bigwave - how did you find the drift of the Rally vs your SB's? Sounds like you ride directionals a lot
I'd get the 9M.peppers wrote:Please help me out with a quiver of Rally's.
I have currently 12, 8 and 6m Rally's. Want to replace 8m (from 2012). 12 and 6 are from 2013. I am stuck with the decision whether to go with 9 or 10m (from 2013).
I am 75 kg and mainly ride surfboard. 9m would be easy choice for 3 kite quiver.
Ideally dreaming of a two kite quiver but have my doubts if there is a too big gap between 10 and 6.
10 m windrange would be ideal for my area. 12m sucks in waves (or I suck with handling big kite
Thanks in advance.
Peppers.
I'm 95 kg, riding surfboards strapless for the last 6 years and own a bunch of Rally's. I changed from 12-9-6 2013 to 12-8-6 because the 8 is a bit faster turning than the 9, which makes it, in my opinion, the first size to be really good in the waves. Everything larger is usable, but turning to slow.peppers wrote:Please help me out with a quiver of Rally's.
