My first kite, enjoy your sky brick! It certainly has historical importance but from a flight quality standpoint it is no accident the kite came out over 14 years ago. I recall there were some mods guys developed and passed around online to improve the flight characteristics. Things like turning speed, responsiveness.

I must have watched that short video three dozen times. I got mine in Aug. 1998, There was nothing else in those days, not even other kiters to look at here. I saw you seven months after I started Raul, didn't see another kiter until another five months which was you again. The early days.

yeah, they were mod'ing them to be 4 liners even back then,
I always preferred how it behaved in two line mode.

The smaller ones maybe but the 8.5 m was slow flying kite. I still have a 3.5 m.
