Try the Mutiny bar! The thinnest and most comfortable bar I had ever in my hands.
Available in both 4 and 5 line configurations with the best swivel, the best grip and a clamcleat adjuster.

yeah thanks, I do like the bar. I have sent them a message with questions about a couple of things. One of those things is if it would be possible to have the kite flag out on one of the front lines like the slingshot and naish systems do in the 4 line mode. I think its clumsy that the blue centre line runs up the middle and attaches to both front lines.

Can you please measure your bar and let me know what the diameter is?

The bar diameter of the mutiny bar is 25mm including the gecko suede grip. That is how I measured it with an old calliper gauge.

I got an info from Mutiny (Oli) that the bar is 25 mm in diameter. The centre is the same, it does not bulge or get larger.

The 4 line safety system is a front line flag out, This is new for 2012. The safety no longer connects to both front lines, instead it pulls one front line killing all power and enabling the kite to lie flat in waves.

Have fun with it!

Many thanks, wow that is thin! I've just emailed Oli with a couple of specific questions.

So is there anyone out there with an f-one airlite bar and a ruler who can measure their bar diameter please?

Flying mutiny kites at the moment and they have one of the thinner bars I think. Very comfortable and nice features as well.

I think the thinnest bar on the market is the flexifoil hadlow bars (maybe the others too?). They're super thin but the grip tears your hands up

Thanks!

Btw, does anyone have a diameter for a F-one Airlite bar also interested in the diameter of the BWS undertow bar grip.

If any of you are interested, Blade's new control bar is 25mm in the middle and narrows to 23mm at the ends. It's got a couple of other cool features which will be presented through a website dedicated just for the control bar... coming out later this week!

Hey guys, ok one of my mates just purchased a f-one kite with a 2011 Airlite bar and I managed to measure it. The diameter of the bar is also 25mm. It wasn't as nice in the flesh as it looks on the internet. Now I'm looking towards north. Can someone measure their North kite bar diameter and post it here please? Thanks, dean
