I rode Caesars one day for 20 minutes and simple now I buy one. Mr Shinn if your listening this guy is quite an Ambassador for your boards, I had never met him before yet he insisted I try the board. If I was a bad person I would have gone downwind to Lagoinha and kept it, but instead I ordered one hehe :rollgrin:

Yes, the Monk II is the same board but the new graphic is just ordinary. The gorilla is and was extraordinary. Nobody else in the past did something like that. Everybody is doing the ordinary bits and stripes. Why not putting up something fancy like that gorilla face?!
You should see the crowd at the beach starring, smiling and clapping their hands and then pull out their cameras to take photos when I jump and lift my board into their direction and they see the gorilla. :wink:
Makes my day(s)...

Cheers

Aren't the graphics the most important part though?

know what you mean graphics never made a difference to me but.. the Monk is a really cool graphic when you see it in person, but not a decision changer how board rides is, right?

Hi ladies and gents,

I still haven't found a Shinn/Monk with the gorilla graphic size 130x40 or 128x39 (either would be good).
Anyone else please?
Thank you heaps.

Cheers

There is a 132x41 here;
http://www.andybiggs.co.uk/

they have one left... I spoke to them at the weekend.
In the UK I am 99% sure all 130x40 are sold out in the shops, and there are certainly none left at the importers. Shinn himself was at the demo this weekend in the UK with the new Monk Forever.. he told me all stock of the gorilla is long gone at the factory.

For the first time the new monk has a technical upgrade - response from all who demo'd, (and a few were existing monk owners) was overwhelmingly positive. If people are selling their existing boards for the updated tech you may find a few gorilla's popping up second hand...
