Just did a good back to back test in ultra LW with the Core XR3 19m and the Nugget (2012) compared with the Fone Fish 5'10" 2013. Probably because of the thickness of the Nugget that create some drag the Fish was a bit better in ultra LW. I mean wind of less than 10 knots. At 9-11 knots there is no difference between the two boards and at 12+ knots the Nugget become more fun to ride because it is soo much fun to play with. I am very happy with both boards.

love the nugget and have it now over 6 months. one thing:::::
BE CAREFUL with cracks at around 5 cm front the edges in the middle of the board top side. I guess they are caused by hard landings (strapless)...... I fixed already two sides. Fixed just with solarez to make sure no water is getting in..... but this doenst add any strength though
that is so far the only negative point.......

My nugget was replaced under warranty due to this cracking, seems a layer of resin was missed in a batch allowing 2 layers to separate. This allowed extra flexing of the deck and subsequent cracking along the edges.

After a lot of reading and head scratching, bothering people with questions... I finally picked up a Slingshot Dialer last week

It's like the last episode of the Dollars or something.
No wait, I have an idea for next seasons plot - you somehow manage to have a camel kick the Dialer into the water in offshore conditions on a trip to Egypt and decide you want a replacement, but you are not quite sure what, then consider a better location for next vacation.

Wouldn't go to Egypt in the first place.
