Rider Warning:
Don't lose your Cloud!

I misplaced my 17, couldn't find it yesterday.
And I live in a small place!
It packs up that small, size of a pilllow.
It was in the back of a closet, behind some hanging wetsuits and jackets...
I was worried for a minute...

re: rowboat's bar presssure, I think you'll feel it when powered. But it could be you need to play with the pigtails a little more, make sure it's tuned up to where you are holding the bar in a comfortable position and have good "leverage" over the bar (arms not too extended) so the short depower range is easy/comfortable to work.

just saw that new video on Facebook, been reading up on your kites for a while, knew about the short depower, but watching it on youtube visually is very interesting/impressive

i am interested in 17 or 13, just today it was blowing a good 14 knots, but with currents and lulls had to walk upwind with my 12m

i need a light wind kite, but am afraid of getting burned with a crappy kite, anyone in south florida have a cloud that i can ride for 10 minutes?

Hi. Taut can you compare the Trip and the Ride 10? I mean, grunt, speed and overall feeling. Thanks in advance. I love my Parks but I am very curious about this new concept.
Best regards
Carlo

Ah, I read this wrong. Maybe move that over to the Naish strutless thread instead. :-)

First ride on my 17 cloud.
im 150lbs and rode a 134X35 mako board
i ride since 2006
wind side onshore 10 to15 and gust to 20.
when i riged the kite wind was 10 to 12 knots.
put the kite up on the beach and wow instant grunt.
good pull to go and have a blast.
very stable kite and flutering is inexistent when the bar is pulled in.
sheeted out the kite flutters.
the kite is gentle on the pulling and picks speed up really fast.
went out to deep sea the wind picked up to 15 to 20 knots.
this kite is fast turning even for its size.
i didnt try any loops.
i didnt try to jump.
i believe for my weight, 15 knots is the top end of the kite.
At this wind range i had to full depower the kite and i felt vibration on the bar
this is the obvious sign for max depower and overpowered in this kite due to flutter
Even in this conditions kite is stable.
now the fun part!!
i dropped the kite in the water and it came back up gently and instantly ... very good. no
went for some shoulder high waves and droped the kite. woops!!
i punched out and the kite got pulled and tummbled in two waves .
result was the kite turned inside out and got pushed to the sand.
After inspection no rips or damage done by the waves.
Big smile and end of the session.
My afterthougts are:
should have bought an 13m!
kite is too powerful!!
Need to try this kite in its intended 7 to 13 knots range( i believe this is the range for my weight)Pedro
