Assuming that was you, what did you hit today? I saw you go over the reef and then fall off the board... Looked like there was something splashing around behind you.
Kites looked good out there.

Turtle popped up right in front of me! Thanks for the stoke on the look of the kite. Next round of development arrives on Monday. Want to give it a try?

You gotta learn to relax man.
From the bridle layout it looks like it might flag to both front lines by switching the powerline from doubled to single?
And below the bar trim?
When the kite is a sunshade up against a wall, the material looks very stiff until very near the trailing edge, almost as if the canopy has been partially processed to stiffen it.

Hi Ronnie. I agree that 3 line could be interesting. I've been spending a lot of time with all kinds of bridle configurations. Some leaning toward 3 line concepts really slow down the responsiveness. Was a surprise to me. The geometry of this design is pretty unusual, so seems like it follows some different rules. I'm still exploring and learning.
About the canopy, nothing has been added to stiffen it anywhere. Before I began testing this concept I had no idea what to expect and guessed it may not work at all. To the contrary. Many interesting potential advantages. I think the fact that it is not stiff really allows the kite to twist and respond to all input. She's super fast. I'm stoked.

I'm trying to understand how the no strut kite works. the only thing i can come up with is mega pressure. Have you stiffened the le bladder and pump 20-30 psi into it?
ps is it a light wind only kite? the vid seems to be light wind.
