Kiteboarding Footstraps

Postby njrider » Thu Sep 13, 2012 5:40 pm

I am looking for a good set of footstraps. I would like them to be tough enough to last a few seasons but comfortable and solid so that i don't notice them when riding. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would ask the same...

Then again - when the question is asked, it is almost certain it is for a tt :naughty:

(and I dont know about these - my Brunotti tt straps are really good so I dont worry about nothing but directional straps now)

But you are only riding in bare feet I assume - otherwise the answers can be totally different and another ballgame when talking shoes or boots

For a TT.... Shinn straps are tough, extremely comfortable, actually extremely comfy. I have had my shinn monk for two years and no wear or tear on them. Did I say they were comfy :)

I really like liquid force deluxe pads and straps!
Check them out if you can!

Shinn foot pad made of memory foam are extremely comfortable. And easy to set up too with the Velcro. I know they will be my next purchase for sure!

I know this sounds weird but I like directional straps on my TT. Just straps and a thin traction pad. It is less cushion for landing jumps but I don't care about that. I like the more direct connection with the board, especially gripping with toes.

I bought last year those aboards pads anatomic with d3o inside. Very comfy. And straps fixing place are reinforced with metallic parts.
