a friend bought an RRD Krace 70 and i guess it had a air bubble in the back so the company told him he had to brake it in 2 to get a new one and send the picture so anyways, he gave me his board to do wathever i can do with it do you guys think i can fix it, or does it worth fixing it?? would it end good?

Yes it is doable:
First glue the two parts together with epoxy resin and maybe one layer of cloth.
Then remove the fin box and put in a new one. then grind down the repair/ weld zone through the whole length. then put in layers of glass to refill and bond the ground out part of the previous step.
Then the esthetical part to get a clean finish (put in some GT racing strips for exemple)
bobs your uncle youve got a stronger, a bit heavier, but cheap race board.

I would however replace the back fin box.

even if you glue it together. the integrity will not be there, so you probably will have to put in new box.

You could risk just gluing the old box together, but you risk the fin splitting the whole board apart because the box will be weak

Cool. You should take some side on closeups around the fin box. Did he cut it with a jig saw? Remember to note where the box was before removing it. Not sure if it would be simpler to do before or after. Is it a sandwich construction board? If you have some scap divinycell or airex or like material then yea it should be doable at a reasonable price. May be expensive if you have to order some it might be expensive.

You will have to cut the box out. So just cut it out before glueing the board back together.

The rest is simple.

1) Buy a new box.

2) Draw a centerline

3) glue in box (quadruple check that it is straight)

4) Laminate it.

Thanks guys i will defenetly get a new box for the fin and so should i just glue the board 2 pieces together or a guy told me to put like some fiberglass sticks pretty lightweight throw the EPS or would i do it just with some epoxy and also would the board still be registered or not anymore?
Also i just want it for starting to race, once i get good i can buy a mikes lab or an Aguera thats certified instead of beating a new board up when learning

I would consider using some small rods when epoxying the parts together.

Check how much the fin box and fins cost, plus the epoxy resin and supplies before you embark on this project. Make sure you use epoxy resin, not polyester. Use peelply to get a smoother finish.
