So I learned Railey to Blinds about 2 years ago and now I have them dialed and can land them often when lit and in choppy water. However, I cannot get the Blind Judge no matter how hard I try for some reason I just cannot get the pass while in the air. Most often my arm gets too extended and the bar gets ripped from my hand when half way into the rotation.
i'm new to this too, but i've had success using wave kickers which give you more height = time or using kiteloops. also, winding up before initiating the pass helps speed up the rotation too.
A raley to blind is a blind judge!!!. If you pass the bar your actually landing toeside or revert. Now for the pass... Try pulling hard to your hip a lot sooner than you would when you just land blind. Pretty much as soon as your through your raley start pulling in hard to your front hip and then go for the pass. Landing blind is more like falling in and around your arm. Trying to pass like that is going to be very difficult.
