Want to start lightwind sailing and have never tried anything bigger than 13 - weight 80 kg on a good day. Have door, raceboard etc.
Would the Best TS 17 m be a good choice?

Yes. The TS15 is worth a look for your weight.

it will depend in what you want to do in lightwind, if you wan´t to cruse only, maybe is ok, but if you want to jump, make unhooked manouvers, kiteloops, and all this with 8/10knots, so i think it´s not the best choice...

Hi I have owned 17 and 15 m kites, I have a semi raceboard, airush sector 60 v2
My biggest kite now is a 13m Ozone edge, I go out on my free raceboard, the same time, the others go out on their 21m flysurfers with TT...
I would not buy anything bigger anymore...maybe give it a test, lightwind needs more skills than strong winds.
Safes some money

Was riding the TS 15m and honestly it is probably faster than a lot of 13m on the market, never tried the 17 though. I was riding it with a sector 60 and it was really great so it should be fine with a raceboard and a TT.

The 17 is a bit big... I have the 15 and use if mainly for unhooked and boosting, and sick sick how well it works even in superlight wind. It works better than a lot of 13 kites. Easy steering, easy relauch, and a good solid pull when you should think the wind is to light. And also a big windrange! For me that´s great be course it´f fun to be powered and pull some airstyle (oldschool), and you have so much hangtime with a 15... If you are in to racing you will like the upwind ability.
For me I prefer a bigger kite than a bigger board, but then again I just don´t care about racing...
