Where can I get some of this?
They obviously make it because all the U-stick valves use it....

I repaired a big tear thats lasted so far 6 months with this stuff. I put a layer of this stuff around the tear that was very jaggered. Then put a sheet of bladder material over the whole lot. So far so good.

Good luck,

Robbie :D

Thanks, I now have a large collection of usable valves after several replacement failures that ruined many bladders and the double sided is needed for future attempts...

You might want to consider using Airtime Valve traps - http://www.airtimekite.com/index.php/airtime-kite-bladders/valve-repair/valve-trap/valve-trap.html . They sandwhich the valve shloulder with a thin but very flexible and sticky adhesive foam, making an adhesive bond on both the underside and top-side of the valve shoulder. Nice big diameter and third adhesive layer to make the bond to the bladder. I've been using them for about 6 months thus far, with excellent results.

Airtime claims they are 5 times more durable than standard stick-on valves - they must be doing some sort of accelerated testing on which this claim is based.

DAMMIT...this is good. If I had known of these I would have saved 2 bladders already
Thanks though...I will be getting some for my other kites.

those airtime traps are HUGE 4 inches wide. Every one I used I had to trim down in size, so if you have a failed valve you had to cut out with scissors there is a good chance the trap will work. I haven't had a trap fail yet, but you know, I haven't had an original airtime valve fail ever either.

Grrrr..quite difficult to set the airtime or usticks without folding the bladder...I was attempting to re-seat an old ustick and stretched the bladder upon removal....of course I ruined yet another bladder....this will help dramatically...
