Hi just curious to know if some of you had the chance to test the new bar and all the new feature...I heard you need to unclip the floater before rolling the lines??

You don't " have to", but the floats will probably last longer if you do.......

They come unclipped new so as to fit in the box.
I have rolled mine clipped for a while now, and have not had any issues...This is the first I have heard of this at all?
The new bar works great, so far so good, super smooth action, very nice feel, works just as you would like it to, flawlessly.

Hi, its written in the owners manuel: -'' to prevent distortion of the floaters during storage, we recommend removing them from the bar ends....''. Imo, its a pain in the butt. I tried mine for the first time yesterday and unclipping that thing is, to say the least, difficult. It's in no way as easy as shown in the North video of the trust bar, trust me. Since i'm only riding on week-ends most of the time, i'll remove them during the week but not if i'm riding the next day. Hopefully, the floater joint will last in time... I was expecting more from that system.
Other than that, the bar is very nice. Vario cleat if stiffer, i like it and the back lines ajustement at the bar very nice too and easy to access.
i personnaly bought the bar for the upgrade in lines specs (abrasion and stretch).
cheers
