Perhaps some folks are realizing that its just not that great of a kite?
Ebay appears to be flooded with 2014s at a similar price.
Why are you getting rid of it?

check out the completed listings on ebay you can do that by going on ebay clicking on the left for completed listings and do a search. There has been one comparable north 2014 kite sold at $699 recently but most of them seem to go for around $400. $700 is not a dirt cheap you are doing good if you can sell it for that. Keep trying bro.

Why am I selling it?
Cause it's a great kite and I think I should share it with the world.

All kidding aside: It's a great kite, just not for me.
How's $500 sound?
Still too much?
It's almost new. This sucks...
Guess it's a write off...

Give me $450, but you got to pick it up

PS: New it was $1200 ish a few month ago

I think its hard to sell used stuff when you can get brand new non current kites and bar for 799....if u look hard enough, or cheaper. While 700 sounds good in principal....your competition is far greater..........I found it easier to just trade it in at the dealer on new kites and then get the tax savings ,than trying to sell them privately.

fabs this is true for all things you sell. The more of a hurry you are you in the lower the price you have to sell it.

You are obviously in a hurry to sell the kite so you are gonna take a loss. If you can be patient and give it a few months you can make more money on it. Good luck.

Ikitesurf.com classified is the place to go for buying and selling kites in the US. Ebay takes SO much of your money now.

For whatever reason ive never had any luck with the classifieds on this forum.

$700 seems about right to me. Ive been looking for a 2014 rebel 11m and most are asking $1000+ kite only!

No kidding!!! :angryfire:

WTF Ebay..........your fees are a joke. It's OVER 12% you lose by the time Paypal and Ebay take their cut.

I wish Craigslist was more effective. Creeplist is too littered with scams and weirdos asking you to take a clapped out go kart or box full of kittens on trade....

F' that noise. There has to be a better way to off load used kite gear.
