Dimitri I have to say that you showed a lot of class in biting your tongue this long when you could have stated these facts at the beginning. You gave him what appears to be a resolution that he has accepted and now is claiming foul. Caesar did you get the 9M screamer? If you have than why are you throwing stones? If you took the kite than you agreed to a resolution and dimitri has provided you with good customer support. Not being happy now seems like there is more to this story than just a kite with warranty issues! Also how many sessions has that kite seen? Shouldn't you have stated that you received these kites under a team rider program?
Mate,

Read my responses after the comments and questions you wrote. I hope you've got a clearer picture now...

Hey back to the kite...that looks a weird shaped canopy hey? Interesting to see how she flies.Real wide and fat at the back and narrows considerably to the front. Interesting.
Westozzy,
I presume you are talking about the SURF kite correct? If so "Yes" it is a weird shape and it works very well. We are still working on few more prototypes because I am not very happy with the turning speed of the SURF yet. I want the SURF 12m to turn like a 9m. I want the SURF 8m to turn like a 6m. And I want the SURF 5 to turn like a 5m. So right now the SURF 5m has a great turning speed, but I am not happy with the 12 and 8 meter yet. Everything else works incredibly well. I have few surfers that have been demoing the SURF kite and they are already very impressed with its performance.

Yep a fast turning wave kite is the go. Fast turning that also gives you Immediate power rather than requiring apparent wind. The airush wave kite is an example of this but 6 pulleys damn! Maybe you need to square those tips off a bit to get more pivot ? No expert talking here by the way but most of the fast turning wave kites out there have squarer tips lately. not sure??? Looks real delta ish at those tips? But the rest doesn't. Lol. Weird shape but hey weird can be good. At least you are trying something a bit different rather than produce yet another wave kite that does the same thing.

Hey guys Ceaser is obviously pissed. Best let it go bite your tongues and move on or the bitch slapping will continue. Plus none of us know the whole story. Been front and centre in a few of these dances and in the end nobody wins. Hes bought new kites so end of story.

Ps I have no affiliation with epic I'm an ozone rider through and through but I dig Dimitris enthusiasm and the fact he's produced that ball breaker of a screamer! Damn that kite made my eyes water! Lol.

Liquid Force customer service vs "Epic" customer service:

Two of my friends had a snapped front line on their 2012 Liquid Force bars.

-In first case, back in November, the bar was brand new - first outing. The guy has contacted LF - got a new set of lines, no questions asked.

-In second case, two week ago in OBX, the bar had about 25-30hrs on it, purchased last summer. Got in contact with LF rep, and I've just found out that he'll be getting a new set of lines and a 2013 upgrade kit (including the big swivel) as a part of the package.

Meanwhile, in a case of a problem with Epic gear, the so called "Epic" customer service, basically comes down to:

I don't ride Epic Kites anymore (I ride Naish kites), but I did own a 2011 9m Renegade which I gave to my cousin. I had a much different experience than you and Caesar, it seems. The second time I used the Epic bar, the bar end piece broke off while riding. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed off that my brand new bar broke in 2 sessions. I e-mailed Dimitri and he FedEx'ed me two new bar-ends at no charge. Dimitri was quick to respond to my e-mail and I had my replacement parts 2 dys after the e-mail.

My buddy - whom I did put on Epic kites had a problem with his 3G Renegade as well - basically it was folding and inverting when over-loaded. Like when you choke up the kite in a lull, then a gust hits - it gets fully powered while still being deep in the window - bam! folds the tips and inverts! And it was getting worse over time without any signs of a problem on the bridle or anything else... Contacted Dimtiri - got the same usual "Never heard of such problem" - response, agreed to film it on video, but given our winds, at the end it was just easier to trade in the kite for something else (incidentally - a Naish kite) than to deal with the:

Just telling my experience with Dimitri. I really don't like the Epic bar though. I agree with you on that.

Renegades don't invert.
This demonstrates exactly why you fall into the tiny strange minority of people that seem to (or claim to) have problems nobody else has, this is why your bar problem is so hard to believe.
The foam is not pretty enough after forty sessions?, you wore out your depower strap?, you now invert kites that have no reputation/history whatsoever of inverting?....you're just not credible.
Your profile lists only Epic kites, two Renegades and one Screamer.
Less than a week ago, you said Dimitri makes great flying kites.
Two of your three kites are prone to inverting?....gimme a break.

Dude learn to read. Damn and I thought I had issues with English comprehension not being a native-English speaker. If you want to break somebody's credibility, at least start with actually reading what people have wrote instead of coming up with BS out of nowhere.

Cheers dude! Say "hi" to that boss of yours!
