Guys, rather than trying to knock chunks out of each other and trading insults. why not drop this and put something in the stoke thread.

Why concerntrate your efforts on the negative? that is not what this sport is about.

Hope to see something on why you love the sport rather than this boring continuation of the same old sh*t.

Peace

Here's a very simple question for you to give us a very straight and honest answer.

What is the real reason why you've replaced that stupid plastic buckle with a metal one?

Especially considering that it's so much more expensive.

It wasn't surely for these 0.04% of people who were having issues with it? Wasn't it? And neither it wasn't for sure because of the cry babies like me? Wasn't it?

There's a fundamental difference between your Toyota wheels wearing and some other guy's GM wheels falling off.

What difference does it make if I touch the trimmer once per session or 100 times per hour? The Epic bar is the only one out there that fails from a kitten's fart and you're still trying to cover it up with your usual excuses? Fact is - your screwed up when you've chosen a supplier for these trimmers. Wrong choice of parts, or wrong materials, or both - who cares by now? It's a faulty part and you're dealing with it in a totally unprofessional manner.

Have a nice day!

OB,
Just so you know, that Ozone part hasn't failed from wear, but from a manufacturing defect. If anything could fail on that particular part from wear - it's the rope ring underneath and it would takes miles and miles of depower rope filled with sand particles to wear it out to any visible extent. For somebody who has so much experience in kiteboarding, you don't seem to be too bright about simple mechanics or you're wasting too much time kissing Dimitri's arse.

Dude... time to chill.. your getting overheated and start acting like a crazychris/supaego nutjob in the last post. Kinda sucks since you where one of the critical people i respected sofar. But your destroying this just as hard as superego crushed his credibility when he went bananas on his egotrip.

I havent seen any metal buckles so far, but if Dimitri puts them on the bars its because of people like you to meet their demands.

Yeah you guys with the negativity are turning into bitches , and it reads like that too...
I find 'straight' Porn helps - that beastiality stuff gives me the shits like when the neighbours dog trys to hump my leg - but better than running all over my kites i guess :o except for the smell :( lol
Anywayyyyyyy... Can we have a pic of the 4g colour range ?

With all due respect Mr.alexeyga, but you are definitely out of control and very immature from these posts you are posting on this topic. Thank God my 11 year old son doesn't act like that.
Any way for your information, I have not replace any of the plastic buckles on the new (4G) XTEND BARS that are coming out soon. I am still testing some of the bars with the "Metallic Buckle". Probably the first production will come with the plastic buckle because nothing is wrong with this "Plastic Buckle". And then maybe do a production with the "Metallic Buckles" but I need to test it more. I just want to keep people happy even if I can't make every body happy. Same thing with anything else we do with our EPIC products. Another good example is the "Pulleys" we have on the (4G) kites. This year we decided to go with the "ROSTAN" pulleys not that the other pulleys we were using for the (3G) kites were bad but just to do something different on the kites.

P.S. For kiters that have not been kiting for a long time. If you decide to ride an EPIC kite and start with the Depower Strap on and leave it their, that means you are flying the kites with the breaks on. It's like driving a FERRARI car with the hand breaks on. If you want to see it's real performance release the breaks. Same thing goes with the EPIC kites or any other kites. I often see riders riding on a kite with the Depower Strap 1/2 or fully pulled down. And once I tell them to release the Depower Strap they are amazed of the performance of the kite. But then some other kiters might be over powered and that is the reason why they have the Depower Strap pulled. So if you are over powered then please change the kite to a smaller kite. Because flying a kite with the DEPOWER STRAP pulled down doesn't give you the incredible performance of the kite.

I don't even know what to say. Dimitri, you might want to delete your response as coming from a person of your position - it makes you look... silly.. sorry for the lack of better words.

To sum it up, I am:
-Immature
-I don't know how to use a trimmer for sh#t, that's why it's failing
-I'm a cry baby
-I'm the only one with these issues

The Epic customer support at its best!

Dimitri, if you're noticing people dumping your brand, you can be sure that it is not because you make bad kites, but because of how you deal with real issues and how you treat your existing customers.

You've been asked a simple question and you can't even give a simple and straight answer - I don't really see what else is there to talk about.

Good luck!

Time to cool down... :cool2:

An awnser you dont like or want to hear is also an awnser.

your summing up... :argue:

1 yes you are acting immature. placing fetish photos on the topic.
2 sure you do know how to use a trimmer, but since you are one of the very few people who has this problem. Logically i would guess you do something differently. Maybe you depower/power a million times each session. I almost dont use my trimmer so would explain it. Or you just simply have bad luck with 2 buckles. It happens.. :angryfire:
3. Well fits to acting immature. And you are blowing stuff waaaay out of proportion. :girl: :girl: :girl:
4. Not true Dimitri told you he had 1 buckle with the same problem himself. Replaced it and no more issues. Its the same damn buckle on many many other brands their trimmers. Maybe 1 out of 2000 have this issue. its called bad luck.

Dimitri even offered you a metal buckle since you seem to need it. :thumb: Sounds as a valid solution. :thumb: Even though i really dont see any reason for it. It also shows Dimitri is trying to solve you issue behind the screens. :thumb:
I guess Dimitri should just start saying a standard line whenever someone has a issue.

"ok i will look into that matter, thanks for the heads up" and leave it at that." :nono:

And GOOD LUCK to you too! :remybussi: :remybussi:

I am fully aware. That was my point.
The Ozone part cracked from a possible impact or a defect during casting or finishing.
My buddy does not care which, he just bought a replacement part and went back on the water happily.
You, on the other hand.. have somehow unbelievably worn out a Delrin buckle and refuse to pay postage from Hatteras to Quebec for a free replacement part,..... a part YOU'VE WORN OUT.
You claim it is premature wear....statistics show it is not a manufacturing defect since less than a handful out of 7000 from Epic (one of 11 companies, don't know the numbers from the other 10) have worn out.
Epic is looking at a different part, but testing needs to be done, because they may find out that the metal buckle has possible issues....like cracking, which Delrin very rarely does.
Your over top whining will not make it so, they will test the part and talk to others that use the part and then decide how to proceed.
Meanwhile, if you really wanted a solution, you would do something different than what you are doing, get your part and go kiting.
