I thought that tandem board idea was neat from the first time I saw it. I remember my first lesson where I couldn't get going for hours; never did that day. I've seen plenty of noobs struggle in the exact same way for many sessions. It makes me wonder if the tandem board would have helped.

It's all muscle memory. One can demonstrate and explain verbally on how to get going only so much. Has anyone actually used this in a lesson? Did you find that it helped the beginners to progress faster once they could feel how to get going? Or is this just a toy for getting people out who don't really care to learn?

That would be kind of cool for parents with young kids, although I already have a large Flydoor that might work.

How does the passenger not get in the way of the harness and chicken loop ??
