KSP News:
Second Consecutive Lay Day For The Aer Lingus Kite Surf Pro
Achill Island, Ireland – October 23, 2012: A lay day was called today for day 5 of the Are Lingus Kite Surf Pro due to lack of contestable conditions.
“We are looking at improving conditions over the next couple of days and a potentially big swell towards the end of the holding period,” said KSP Tour Manager Kristin Boese. “Hopefully we can get a lot of heats done this week and hold the finals in the best conditions over the weekend.”
When competition resumes, men’s heat number 8 will be up first with Keahi De Aboitiz (AUS, Cabrinha), World Champion Airton Cozzolino (ITA, North) and local wildcard Mark Barry (IRL), followed by the commencement of women’s round 1.
