Awesome :thumb:

Especially at 1:00 the water colour is amazing !

Windsurfers are a bit faster than kitesurfers, on a reach, thats for sure - we can not follow their speed and consistency.
But upwind and downwind kitesurfers excel.

So all in all the same in speed (just part of it, I know) 8)

I understand why some windsurfers hate kitesurfers though...

As, in some really good wavespots - kitesurfers go out, maybe on TT's, and destroy everything for everyone - and jumping too like maniacs :x

The problem is, it is "too easy" to kitesurf at wavespots...
So newbees or intermediates who hasnt got a clue about anything - will go out at the rare good wavespots without having any common sense about how to give way and how to "behave" so most get the best out of the waves

So no wonder windsurfers get pissed - with good reason IMO :naughty:

Whereas - it takes so much skill to windsurf in waves - that when you can do that, you've learned how to behave :D

But apart from that - no problems windsurfers and kitesurfers alongside, around here :thumb:

Kiters and windsurfers tend to get a long very well in my experience. (I still do both. Have a full quiver of windsurf and kite gear)

And getting close to one another is OK, but the video scared me a bit since I stick to the rule that the windsurfer stays upwind of the kite.

Otherwise, as VERY cool video.
