Poul died 88 years old when he entered The beach after his last session. Still with the Kite In his hand.
His ash was spread into The ocean while fellow surfers gave their respect to a true spirit of our sport:

A beatiful picture (by Kristina Møller) from this saturdays funeral ceremony - his ashes was spread at the very spot where he kitesurfed the most, and where he died peacefully - sank to the ground after a great last kitesurf session.
