You were the most cool guy I know. A great inspiration for all. Looking forward to see you stone on our home spot near Copenhagen. Great wishes from Vietnam. Morten

"Κι εγώ που τόσο επόθησα μια μέρα να ταφώ σε κάποια θάλασσα βαθειά, στις μακρινές Ινδίες θα 'χω ένα θάνατο κοινό και θλιβερό πολύ και μια κηδεία σαν των πολλών ανθρώπων τις κηδείες" Last verse of a Greek poem by our emblematic poet of the sea, Nikos Kavvadias. It talks about an employee of a ship company who - for all his life - dreamed of sailing away with the ships he worked for at a port office, but never made it and spent all his life just watching them come and go... Translation: "And I, who so much desired to be buried one day in a deep sea of Indies, faraway I will have a common and very sad death and a funeral like most people's funerals" So nice to know that this man of the sea did not realise the poet's fears. Even if the poem is symbolic and mourns the unfulfilled dreams of our lives, it springs to mind when thinking of Poul's life, death and funeral. Poul fulfilled his dreams and is now resting in peace.
