Nice try.
Still, is it easier to ride powerfull with boots? Why do they use it? More risk of getting injured with straps?

Boots = more control over power. More stylish (IMO), looks better. Safer for the feets/ankle.
Good luck to Youri.
Defo gonn'e be interesting to see Hadlow VS YZ.

I do not know Hadlow, I meet Youri a lot at our beach, he is local here and by meeting I do not state I am a friend or something, just a co kiter. Youri for sure has it all, he is a real ambassador, always friendly, good mood, when you see him at our beach, if some youngsters come to him to get on a picture with him, he always makes time, is friendly to others, and always watch out to do his tricks...he is a gentleman kiter! Great sportsman. Btw when it is really blowing hard, we often meet him on the water on a windsurfboard....and man can he jump front and backloops Dude

Ok, thx.
So if same same the strap rider should win, since he needs more control and has more risk!

Defo gonn'e be interesting to see Hadlow VS YZ. Boots does not automatically equal more style.

Defo gonn'e be interesting to see Hadlow VS YZ. Boots does not automatically equal more style. Partly true- those who ride them at top PKRA level, in order to be able to nail those trickes with the boots, already have those trickes at full style- all included With boots- the stance looks better, it is heavier so you need mre power and the body looks more "open" when upsidown. Cheers

it's not the fact that the boots are heavier that makes you need more power, but the rocker. you dont want to ride a flat flexy board with boots, it will feel like a noodle. you can control the board much better so you want something bigger with more rocker, and more stiffness so you can use the boots to their full advantage and get more pop. and the board needs to be thicker or you will end up like youri with ripped inserts every heat..

Cheers No most of the pkra riders that that just recently switched to boots lack the style, although they may land tricks that more difficult and score more points with pkra judges. A wakestlye riders (andre philip, brandon scheid,......) have way better style in boots.
