Cracks me up every time I watch it
I don't think kiteracing in the olympics will have a big impact on the overall sport.
But should they include some form of free or wakestyle kitesurfing in the olympics then I think that would be a different story... that might turn some heads. Just bombing around some buoy's isn't that exciting... a 150 foot jump over brighton peer now that's more like it.
Who gets into this sport to race in the first place? (except those windsurfer dudes).

Done!
Now we can go back to using kiteboards instead of boats with kites instead of sails, finally!

yes, bring on twintip races! less dangerous, less space, more fun for everyone!
The twintip races at Kitesurf Tour Asia has 5x more participants than the huge race boards!

Yes,go back n forth in a straight line with a big windsurf board cut in haft is boring,no air times,no acrobats. It will get old soon, these racing monkeys with huge race boards will realize they have wasted their time n energy .

Personally, I would like to see the industry grow, so I am for kitesurfing in the olympics.

Why on earth would you like to see the industry grow? Will you enjoy kitesurfing more if you feel as part of a bigger herd?
The technology will grow anyhow, independently of the industry thanks to a bunch of passionate Lou Wainman-style experimenters (hackers if you will).

Very Chill
....takes statement out of context...
mmm no it doesn't that whole statement is about how badly you want to punch someone face in.
I don;t understand the hate at all.
Sure you might dislike kiteracing. I think it is fun. I like riding waves, TT, hell I'd ride anything that floats if I thought it was fun...I don;t like riding a huge TT, but it doesn't mean I hate people that likes to ride it.
I think the way you describe kiteracing makes me think you do not understand it. There are plenty of sports I know nothing about in the olympics....but I don't go around wanting to punch their face in. Why not just be glad for your fellow kiteboarders? Maybe they could feel you ooogling their backs..and tried to stay out of your way
anways, no matter. Don;t worry be happy.

Perhaps you should have asked Brock how old he was. Milk might still be running from his nose and feels the need to demonstrate his youthful exuberance.
I don't blame you Brock, I know the feeling.... towards those handle-pass monkeys and would gladly punch them in the nose for doing so repetitive stuff.
And you're 100% right about Corporatist Olympics.
