Recommendation on cold weather kiteboarding gloves

I discovered several years ago that
if the gloves are too tight,...
yer hands will get cold

if you think you test fit some good perfect sized
skin tight gloives

go up a size!
do not constrict blood flow in your hands!

has anyone tried the Bare brand kevlar gloves (5mm)?

It would be amazing if instead of a neoprene plus kevlar palm it had only kevlar on the palm so all the insulation is on the outside, would make for great grip.

I just wore out another pair of gloves (holes in the fingers & palm -- only took 3 days of nonstop kiting) and need to buy more.

For now I'm using the duct tape on the holes.

We here pretty much use the 10c H20, 10c air rule.
If both are below then to cold for most of us. Remember we are in the south of France.
Sun also plays a huge factor.
That said, I read that someone used simple cheap dishwashing gloves making VERY sure they would remain watertight by using bunji over them at the wrist, of course not so tight to cut off blood flow.
I doubted this so I tried.
I foiled a good hour and was suprised, I think mostly because my hands were DRY.
I did move my fingers in and out quickly often to stimulate blood flow that being easy to do with these gloves and not with most of the others I tried, most neopream.
Great bar feeling, board grip (needed for foiling water starts) and all but disposable when they wear out.

UPDATE:

Bought the palmless NP Mitts on Saturday and got to test them out yesterday. These have changed my cold weather riding. Providing you're not swimming around, hands stay warm and zero forearm cramping. I rode an hour and a half without issue. This is the first set of hand coverage out of 5 different types over a two year period that actually worked for me.

I did however have to body drag back to my board at one point and my hands froze instantly. But after getting back on the board, the water drains out of the mitts, and a few tacks later they were dry and warm again.

I should also give an update. I find the new gloves I bought to be the best winter accessory by far! I was considering sawing dry gloves onto my dry suit, but most of the dive gear shops steered me into the Atlas 460 gloves with wrist gaskets and I love them. You lose less dexterity than even 3mm neoprene, plus you get to use the bar as you please,(even rigging), since they are gloves vs mitts! They are dry no matter how hard you wipe out or body drag and there's not much fatigue since the rubber and fleece combination is softer and less bulky then neoprene. They look more ridgid than I have immagined and the gloves are only $16 + $20 for the gaskets. It will be extra if you had the dive shop put them together! All and all best kite gloves you can get!

palmless NP Mitts

Been using these since the early 90's

I've tried most things out there.
I'm in Sweden and I go kiting as long as there's no ice on the Baltic Sea.
Prolimit Cold Water Mitten is the winner. 1mm on the inside and pre-bent to avoid fatigue.
3mm on top.
You'll stay warm enough. I've been out in a snow storm at -5c which brings other challenges (ice forming on kite and on quick release) so I can't imagine you being out in anything colder.

As long as your above the freezing point you'll be fine with those.
