This is a simple and a complicated question.
The simple response is that you should ignore any literature... The further back (closer to the TE) the connection point gets, the lighter the bar pressure.
The reason it's a little complicated is that some of our literature (perhaps even the labels on your kite) were at one point backwards.
It's even more complicated because checking out the manual online (choose your language here: http://www.northkites.com/north-life/ma ... ites/2011/
), it looks like they put the knots on the front connecting line of the triangle, rather than on the rear connecting line as on the 2013 Rebel.
Assuming this is the case, the labels on the online manual are correct... Using the outside knots will effectively move the connection point back towards the TE which will yield lower bar pressure and quicker response. Using the inside knots will move the connection point forward, give you higher bar pressure and more power through the turns.
