Hi there. I would like to know what is better: North Gonzales 2011 or Cabrinha Chopstick 2011? I'm searching for a board for FREERIDE, few jumps, and ,in the future, waves. My level nowadays is begginer-intermediate. Thanks!!

I'm not familiar with the North, but the ChopStick is horrible in my opinion. (although I'm a big fan of Cab kites)
Check out the Ocean Rodeo Mako - incredible.

When I was first learning (Jan 2012) I rented the chopstick a couple of times. I thought that it sounded perfect for Kailua (small, choppy conditions) and since Cabrinha is local(ish) to Hawaii I thought it would be perfect.
Bottom line: Nope. I got pretty frustrated more often than not. Still got spray in the face.
I bought the Cabrinha Spectrum 144cm as my first board. It is cheap(er) and tough. I ride Mokuleia nearly every day there is wind (most days) and I am forever hitting coral heads, landing hard off of the waves and just abusing it in general. The board has held up well. Lots of scratches (some deep) but the fins are wearing pretty well and the straps haven't failed yet -- despite some nasty one-footed drags through the water (puts a lot of twisting strain on the straps).
Maybe next year I will get something with more rocker, channels, LEDs, iPad connectivity, and a big spoiler (with ground effects kit) like some people seem to enjoy bragging that their boards have, but for now I like my simple board that slides across the water.
Aloha
