I did my first backroll loops the other day, and was surprised how easy it was. Don't get me wrong I still had some wipeouts, but if you loop the kite late (low) there really isn't much pull. I'm also starting the backroll before starting the loop, I think that takes some of the pull out of it.
I'm looking forward to better wind to try some more. I want to try to keep my forward momentum going until the kite pulls me back. That looks more like the video is showing.

my translation
go out lit 9 meters in 25 knots, once you start you must commit, and pull hard. After the kite loops push the bar out so the kite catches you and land with the board pointed downwind. if you have to bail, land on your butt, save your knees.

As far as I understand, if you throw the loop at the top of your jump, its less intense than if you pull it as you are leaving the water.
This depends on how high you boost. If you boost moderately like the kiter in the video you will notice he is sending his kite into the loop almost as soon as he leaves the water. If you get a mega boost then, yes, you can wait until you are at the top of your boost to loop the kite.

Does it make a different whether one kiteloops forward (clockwise) or backward (e.g. counterclockwise) when riding on a starboard tack, (and vice versa.)
It would seem that to get the most float buffer you'd want to close the loop as soon as possible.. the other thing is unhooking.. is it preferable to unhook due to rib damage?

If riding on starboard tack and kitelooping forward (pull in bar with front hand).....
...you will do an aerial transition and land riding in the opposite direction on port tack
Same but with a kiteloop backward (pull in bar with back hand)....
...you will get airborne..and land going in same direction on same tack
I hope this is what you were asking about ...what to expect during a jump of some sort
