I'm pretty uncoordinated, but I never give up until I learn what I'm trying to learn. One tip I have from my slow learning process is to make sure you're not looking at your feet, and really look at where you WANT to go, not where you're going. I wound up not turning the board far enough before switching my feet. Looking farther around really helped me turn the board more quickly and completely. That may not be a problem for you, but it made a huge difference for me.
