Been trying to get my hands on a Naish Raven 7m for a long time now(Over 2 years of looking!), but ive not seen one anywhere.... Never even seen a photo of one! I know they made them in 2005 and 2006(on naish website), but it seems as though they must have very few of them!? I know they didnt make a 7m Raven in 2007 though.
Has anyone else seen one or know somebody who has got one or even better wants to sell one?
Cheers
Dave
(PS. Not interested in other sizes... There are tonnes of the bigger sizes about... just never seen the 7m!)

The picture shows 06 Raven. However, if you are interested to try one you would want to get 07. It was the best version, much refined, a real step change towards a high depower C-kite (like the Torch from that model year onwards). Don`t know what the smallest size was they produced, if it was 8sqm it would fly better and have more depower than 06 7sqm. The Naish website from 2007 is still available through the current website (some clicks).

Hi there. Thanks for the reply. I already have the 2007 Raven 8m (I also have one spare for when it breaks!
) but I'm looking for a 7m Raven in the 2006 model because the smallest size they made in 2007 was the 8m.
I'm beginning to think that perhaps they were never even made because when I contacted Naish about it they couldnt tell me if the 7m existed?
Dave
P.S. The reason I'm looking for the Raven is that it flies like a torch, but packs a hell of a more of a punch in the jumps and loops!

I wish you luck in your search. Could you contact Naish and see about having one made for you? I would LOVE to get my hands on one, all i have is the 07 9m,always wanted something smaller, 6 or so.
Do I see a market for custom kites here????
I'm sure you are not the only person that is looking for a specific kite, it would be nice if you could get the a company to do customs or an extra run of certain kites.

From flying the bigger sizes, I would say that it flys quite like a 2007/8 slingshot fuel.
Surely a Naish dealer out there somwhere can tell me if the 7m Raven was ever made?

Anybody know if it exists? Did anyone try ordering one back in 2006? C'mon there must be somebody who knows!

This was one of the best kites ever made, super fast and huuuuge pop.
Contact Jon Popkiss at solent Sailboards in Southampton, he will for sure know where to find one.
It's a UK shop - I think

Good luck

A bit off topic, but people searching for older models it's a good sympthon of the market maturity
,i mean from 06 in advance most kites released are not obsolete by any means....
Stick for what it works for you,it's a clever way to get good deals on gear
In my case i'll stick for a brands 07 & 08's models that are perfect to my likings, good news is a find replacement on second hand forums at ridiculous price...
Would be good if some brands could re-edit their best models
Good luck on your search Dave !
