There is a bit of a gap between the 14 and 9...surely it will work, and the 9 is epic in waves, but you're not afraid that the 14 will be very very powered before you can use the 9? I have not ridden the 14 yet though, so I'm asking as a matter of curiosity. \

I rode 12m 2012 this summer long and I have the feeling that I live in the most windless place on Earth
.
So you can Imagine that slightest breeze was/is an opportunity.Despite I never felt the need for something bigger...
I weigh the same as you /134x42 TT/.
Probably 12 and 9 is the ticket ?
L.

Thanks taut,2013 9 meter has more bottom end,and every meter smaller counts waveriding, love the 8 meter, but its a bit of a handful in 35 knots, gusting from 30 to 40,6 meter waveriding more fun and control in this wind range,i have quite a few surfboards so this will help with gaps in wind range, kite in florida twice a year so need 14 other wise i would go 12,TONY

Yeah I get that for sure. The 9 is such a sweet kite too
I'd like to try the 14 soon.

Hi all. I agree with Tautologies 14/9 is a bit of a gap. My quiver? 15 Fly, 12 and 9 Park (2013) and 6 Bolt 2012. It works with any kind od wind, flat water and swell. I weight 75 Kilos and I own also a North Nuggett that I use in Italy as a light wind wave board. This year the Naish Park is slightly different and in my humble opinion, compared with the previous one, is better in every aspect. The 9 is amazing, A month ago I was kiting in Kanaha Maui when the wind suddenly dropped. Unlike other riders I was able to keep on my session; after that the wind picked up again becoming extremely gusty. Thr Park 9 worked great even in the most violent gust. I love this size but also the 12 is very, very good
!
Aloha from Maui

How much overlap is there between the 12m Park and the Fly? I Amy thinking of the same quiver but are worried that the overlap is too small.
Thanks

The same works for me as well. Ride mostly directional in small wave.
