That is a low-pressure/high-volume stage only. Certainly there are people that use such a pump to fill the kite and then pump it up to pressure by hand. I used one like that years ago. But I definitely prefer the two-stage pump.

When my low pressure stage failed on the Bravo, it was such a hassle and so expensive to replace that I connected in the Coleman to do the low pressure stage and have a toggle switch.

Its cumbersome and you do lose some air as you put the non-return valve into the kite after the Coleman has inflated it.

There is a market for a simple, cheap, reliable two stage pump.

I'm surprised you found it expensive to repair the Bravo. It's been a long time since I've done one, but I think I was paying less than $20 for a replacement low pressure stage.
