I personally like riding with a stopper and I suppose it could be next years Mod... A naish stopper looks like it should screw straight on for a quick fix.

I really like the chicken loop with no fidley bits to position or loop over etc

Does the bar length adjustment line go through the bar to the bottom... Or from side to side ? If so - what is the rated strength for the plastic ends ??

We haven't had a chance to use the Fat Lady or the bar since it arrived a couple of days ago. Here are some pics:

some kite brands cheese out and don't provide pigtails -- not Blade!

the c-loop line has sort of a waxy feel to it

Image the bubble bee jacket has a soft feel even though it looks like hard plastic from a distance

how the flag out line feeds through the swivel

reminds me of the Slingshot swivel

The bar length adjustments go from side to side, and the rating for the plastic ends is over 400kg. Not actually sure how high it would take to break it, as the testing is only done up to 400kg.

Great pics Droffats!

Thanks

You can go to www.bladekitesUSA.com and click on the DEALER link to see a list of dealers in the USA.

That being said, I am pretty sure the initial batch is sold out everywhere, and that the next batch is due at the end of the month.

Shame they chose yellow instead of red, who really cares about the look of your control bar vs. safety.

Are there any other companies that use yellow for the left control line aside from Blade and Cuation? At least Caution has been using yellow since before red became the standard, Blade's decision to switch from red/blue to yellow/blue makes little sense.

EDIT: Also it looks like they chose white/black for the "yellow" steering line and "white/blue" for the "blue" steering line which is total fail. Your left line colour should match the left of your control bar. On top of that white with black accent line looks a whole lot like white with blue accent line.

It looks like a nice bar other than the terrible choice of style over function in their colours.

yellow is a better safety color for those who are color blind.
red appears grey to these riders...the yellow jumps out at you.

the line set is very nice, you would like it for sure

All forms of colour blindness can still differentiate between red/blue. Even though yellow/blue is easier for colour blind people the industry has standardized on red left steering lines.
