Then my question have you spent time on the 19 core at all?

The truth is that I rode along with a Core last summer. I was able to go upwind better ( the AR seen to be higher) and when the wind dropped the Core guy went to the beach, then he tried to emulated me with little success and I could continue without problem, but if you had a dyno 18 you will know well how it goes.
I had a flydoor 164x46 at that time, wind temperature about 25º and me 82 kg plus harness and a top wetsuit.

But let me tell you, If you with 7 kg less than me, one square meter more and a big freerace board just go at the same time than me (8 knots) you Core 19 LW kite doesn't impress me much.

11-14 knots and way over powered, are we talking about small people or does someone need to calibrate the wind-meter/brain??
Hello Mr.McAbe,
Yes 2 of the riders that demo the INFINITY V3 that day were 136 lbs and 145 lbs. Before testing the V3 INFINITY, these 2 riders where on the SCREAMER 14 kite and were going back and forth in 11 to 14 knots but wanted to test the INFINITY V3. So they did for 20 minutes each.
When they came out of the water they had the Depower Strap pulled all the way down in order to depower the kite. They did like it but it was too much for them in this kind of conditions. The only guys who had a great time was Rick Iossis and another kiter who were around 180 to 190 lbs and they both did enjoy the kite. Rick Iossis words when he came out of the water were: "Whaooo that kite is very smooth and fast and not a lot of bar pressure on your arms compare to what I ride....."
So again this is the reason why the INFINITY V3 is still a prototype because I want to make sure that you can hold it all the way up to 18 knots with no problem like the V2. So I am still working on it.
Oh by the way your friend David who is our Brazilian EPIC dealer showed up to the Epic demo yesterday in Pompano Beach and was able to try the INFINITY V2 in (11 to 14 knots). The reason he did not use the V3 INFINITY kite is because it got too late and I already had packed all the kites except the INFINITY V2. He did demo the INFINITY V3 during the EPIC dealer's meeting we had in Hatteras this fall and was very impressed with its performance.
Maybe you should ask him what he thought about it next time you see him. . And in the same time maybe demo the INFINITY V2 when he goes back to Brazil since you have the INFINITY V1.

Didn't your Brazilian dealer ask you not to comment on my posts ??
But, since you bring it up, he actually told me that there where no big difference between v1 and v2

I am sorry Mr.McAbe but I have to answer every questions customers ask. Now this is what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Concerning the differences between the V1 and V2 INFINITY their were big improvements. Now concerning the differences between the V2 and V3 INFINITY there is not too much except that the V3 can stay up in the air in less then (5 knots) plus it is more stable, and has 10% more power then the V2, but the feeling is the same. But again we are still working on perfecting the High end of the INFINITY v3.
Let me know if there is any thing else I can help you with?

Hey Dimitri, how would you feel about sending a demo all the way to Australia?
cheers for now,
Robbie :)
Hello Robbie,
Will be happy to send you a demo to Australia. But since we have few dealers in Australia I will contact them so they can get in touch with you so you can demo the INFINITY V2 since the V3 are not out yet.
Please email me at: dimitri@epickites.com so I can put you in touch with our Australian EPIC dealers.
Once again thank you for your interest.

P.S. On another note this is Mr. Rick Iossis demoing the INFINITY V3 in stronger on shore winds 11 to 14 knots during the EPIC demos here in Pompano Beach Florida.
Kiters were kiting on 12/13/14/15/16 meter kites while few other people were demoing the high end of the INFINITY v3 light wind kite. Some of them were way over powered and had to pull the depower Strap down all the way, and few other had a great time but were using 129x39cm small board.

... thanks Dimitri!

I've been in contact with the Australian dealer now and as quick as a flash he's organising a demo for me. Cool as, I look forward to it indeed!

cheers,

Robbie :D

Perfect Mr.Puetz,
This is the reason why we are very strict with our Epic Dealers. We want our dealers to be the best of the best so they can promote and take care of our customers as good as I do.
So once you demo the kite if you can let us know what you thought about the INFINITY V2 good or bad. I just want people to know the truth about the INFINITY v2 or any EPIC product.

dad go to bed.
CameronM, what were you doing up so late last night!!!! This is not funny. I don't want to see you up so late during school week. Will be home tomorrow and will have a talk.

I did NOT make any question directed to you.
You want to help, OK, stop involving our mutual friend.

With all due respect Mr.McAbe, but our mutual friend is the person who sold you the INFINITY V1 two years ago which I heard you still love. So he is involved or else he would not be an EPIC dealer. He is my Brazilian Rep/Dealer and for your information, he will be taking care of the Brazilian UFC fighter "Minotauro" who also just got some EPIC kites from the "KITESURF PLACE" store here in Ft.Lauderdale FL.
Please let me know if there is any thing else I can help you with?
