hmmm I have to get going on making these longer Flyrace fins...!
On the kite side, it's just what kite will stay up in the lightest air and have the most power...

Paul, for your independent comments
And I see you're "looking for what's next"? Meanwhile everybody else is arguing here on KF
I'm working on a 19m single surface high aspect ratio bastardized ram air kite.
The idea came from another user here who is also desperate to kite in lighter winds.
So you don't need to move approximately 11 lbs trapped air like in the 21m,
which is eliminated completely from inside the wing cells. mass on the end of 22m lines
Additionally it is less than 3 lbs and expected to fly in 2 - 3 knots, hopefully NO BS
So the handling difference, upwind and steering speed will be of the new 19m and a S3-21
the same as between a Formula 1 Race Car and a Truck
You mention a longer Flyrace fin which I think should work also,
since it worked on my windsurf boards in a lighter winds.
So the question for you and other experts who has the experience,
what is the impression with the new combination would it be possible,
to get the threshold down to a 4 - 5 knots kiting range with a lighter rider like you're
