ya,,anyway, he probably is a better kiter than me.. whatever..

but, what i dont understand about this big show down, this lightwind show down, why didnt he show up with the line extensions, and a proper lightwind board?

Epic DID use a lightwind board. But, knowing full well a ~16m kite can't beat a 19m kite in light winds, was obviously looking for a "get out of jail" card, which is now being played for all it's worth.

He has a lot of good ideas and we have worked together in the past but again things looks good on paper. But it is different when you bring this idea to life.

I tried this out on a dying sea-breeze, with a raceboard. 7-9 knots without long lines.
I have a new-found love for light winds, they are so rewarding and fun! no more waiting on the beach! :thumb:
Nice, finally a winner without the smoke screen

This good dog is saving people instead of the other way around:
no bios and has more common sense than most of the PIMPS without grounds on these "long lines" :naughty:

Dan Glyaire,
That was a good one with Sesame Street, maybe that is one reason why my kids love me so much. Any way next time I will speak in French, Greek and Spanish since English is my 4th language.
Concerning the equipment that day, I did not need to use 27meter lines or a Race board. I always use 22 meter lines and the OXYGEN 135cm Twin Tip board in these types of conditions. And that day I did great with what I had. But if I had put my extra (5 meter extension lines) to make it 27 meter lines + used a Race board and was 30 lbs lighter I could of done even better, but I did not needed to.
Any way I still think light wind kiting is very boring and I rather kite in stronger winds. I guess I am just lucky to leave were I leave.

Dimitri FLAT OUT LIED to KF about me...."swimming" to chest deep past the break.. to get out..

.....because my board had such long dagger like fins

My 2 fins were not long...5.5 inches...compare that to a regular surfboard with 4.5"..and TT with 2.0"

Reminds me of another PRO LIAR athlete.....Lance Armstrong

Will Dimitri's conscience ever get the best of him....and COME CLEAN to the KF viewers

so u are saying SupaEz went to the outside by swimming? not just by.. kiting up-wind?

Yes you are correct Tiago1973 because his surf/race board had very long fins and where I was the water was too shallow (1 to 6 inches deep) so he had to swim out past the break to be able to get on his board so his fins don't touch the bottom.

I STARTED IN 15 INCHES OF WATER
I am 6ft tall
This is not chest deep
I NEVER NEED TO SWIM OUT TO GET OUT with onshore winds in the surf.....NEVER
