Hi!
6 new surfkites annouced by RRD.
Additionnaly to the current surfkite collection (Salerosa, Maquina, Gitana, Pescado, Magonda, Asso, Chiatta et Domingo), RRD is proposing now 6 "new" shapes, more strapless oriented: The K-Pro
These 6 shapes are directly coming from the surf collection: Maquina, Asso and the Chiatta, already prsent in the classic collection, and Rubacuori (small and wide board for speed and manouvrability in small to mid size wave), the Frustona (perfo Fish) and the Svalvolata (perfo winger).

Same construction but without the carbon stringers, different pads, colored bamboo and futures fins box. A channel is also present on the deck to facilitate grab style move.

Price should be reduced from the classic collection, boards are coming with straps but without fin's, to let the surfer choose his personnal setting.

Sizes:
Rubacuori K-Pro: 5’5” x 19 1/2”x 2 1/4”
Frustona K-Pro: 5’7” x 18 1/2”x2 1/4”
Assopigliatutto K-Pro: 5’8” x 19 3/4” x 2 1/2”
Chiatta K-Pro: 5’8” x 19 1/2” x 2 1/2”
Maquina K-Pro: 5’10” x 18 1/4” x 2 1/2”
Svalvolata K-Pro: 5’11” x 19 1/4” x 2 3/8”

Hi,
First test of the Chiatta K-Pro with Futures Fin's SG1 (H=4.16, B=4.05, A=12.5) this week end in strapless.
It is a "very easy to surf" board, very reactive. It allows you to drop any small wave, with a lot of speed for aerial.
Despite the width (19 1/2), the surf is very confortable even in strong wind and chopy water (tested in side/sideon 25 to 30 knots). The thin pads is here but, believe me (first time I surf strapless with a pad), you will forget it.
I guess it will be simply perfect in light wind (full concave, width) and strapless, including freestyle!
