Criteria- has to have lots of life left in the kite, and must be priced right
3 kites I have in mind in order of preference

without wanting to comment on any of the 3 above mentioned kites, because they are all good, have a look at the 16m Nitro v2 from switchkites, which certaily will prove its place among the 3 kites you mentioned above and that for 890$ KO bar is 275$.darippah wrote:Looking for one of the following, but open to other kites that are in the same category.

I flew Core19,15 LW, Flysurfer 19 and 21 speed3 speed2 15m, Ozone Edge 13m 2013, Switch Nitro14V2 and 14m Nitro V1.
The 2 last ones differ a lot to the benefit of the V2
version, faster, better relaunch in lightwind, less barpressure and no jellyfishing anymore.
I just pointed out to the person who asked the question, to have a look at other possibilities, and not just the big brandnames, daring to look outside the box, makes you more aware of todays posibilities, but I have no problem with north or any other brand, just wanted to add my 2 cents without too much fuzz.
.I had looked at the Nitro 16 V1 because of the cheap price, but I read mixed reviews.
I just adviced to LOOK at the Nitro V2, did nowere mention the V1 which is not sold anymore the V2 has improved on all the critics, but you will find critics on every kite in the market
I purchased my 2011 Dyno 18m in October 2011 new for just over $900 kite only, so $890 isn't too amazing of a price.
]Which is a pretty amazing price, if you look today for a price like that on a 2011 dyno 18, I could not find it at your price not even for a 2011, or did you buy it used?
