I can't comment on Switchblade. I have a 10m Catalyst 2011 and the bottom-end performance is reasonable. The kite itself has 3 struts and is very light, so the kite itself flies very early. With my weight (75kg) on a twintip I can usually ride from about 7 m/s in flat water, from about 8 m/s in chop/waves. Once when wind was dying and I was struggling to ride, I borrowed a 11m CrazyFly (do not remember the model), and did not feel a big difference.
