Single surface kites

I found some interesting info about single surface kites here:

Did anyone ever get a system of working floats for the old Peter Lynn C-Quads that allowed water relaunching?

unfortunately 4 meters is way too 2 small to kiteboard w. If this came in an 8m I would totally use this for some speed runs. back in the day if you crashed your kite you had to swim in, people today are so spoiled.

Spoiled? It's called technology advancement. I guess you are willing to go outside and burn your car down since peeps used to walk back in the day.
