Dynabar: best way to bend it back to original curve?

I bought a second one to keep on hand so I can just swap the whole bar when I want to change styles. I noticed the one I have been using the most has developed more curvature than the new one that is flatter. They are the same model 13" v6 or v7. It must get bent over time from extreme kite pull. Prob does not happen if you use the rope, but i prefer the wave bar and freeride bar. Can anyone recommend an easy method to bend both the frame and bar back? The flatter one is definitely more comfortable.

Hi, could you send us photos at support@jaystore.eu so we can evaluate the model and problem you have. V7 is stronger than V6.
DYNABAR is not designed for hard usage like snowkiting and climbing hills (a lot of pull at low speed). More dynamic you are and less pull your transmit to DYNABAR.
In the initial design one requirement was the low weight, but we had to sacrifice strongness.
The next models will come with a reinforced frame, we will sacrifice weight (about +100gr) for more resistance.
Carbon fiber could be the compromise, we are already evaluating this option.

Mine is definitely bent in the same manner. It is a v7 11 inch, only used with the rope and only used strapless on water.

I set it on a hard surface and pushed down to bend it back, but it re-bent the next time I used it.

Hmmm....you are marketing the Dynabar as the perfect spreader bar for snowkiting, and now you say that it is not designed for snowkiting?

I find it very hard to believe that snowkiting creates more forces on the spreader bar than kitesurfing.

Where is it bent? Those look like two different bars.

Same bar, different style slider. The old one looked like the new one originally.

Sfpete has more attention to details than me! Maybe I'm wrong but the two bars are dfferent sizes, it's normal that the 11" is more curved then the 13" due to body shape.

I made a mistake, hard snowkiting is climbing mountain and the pull is really hard.
The DYNABAR XT 2013 has a reinforced frame and will be usable also to climb mountains!

We sponsor the world snowkiting race champion but he is riding mostly on flat.

I have the freestyle model, which has a U Bolt at the center, so the pull force is all at the center.
Bent the shit out of mine, in six months.
I got a 3/16" plate of stainless sheet stock and and cut it to fit in behind the original piece and bent it into the curve needed, and then welded it in place.
It is double thick now and comes out further toward the ends as well, so it does not bend anymore..at all.

Nope. Both the same bar, possibly different version but same length. Never snow kited with them yet :(
