converting bar from double front line safety to single line

Postby darippah » Tue Jun 03, 2014 4:47 am

just switched over 2 kites from Best TS/ Kahoona to Ozone Edge's. To my understanding in order to use my old Best bars safely with the Edge the bar needs to flag on a single front line.

I'm hoping to convert my current bars since I have 2 bars that I like to keep with different line lengths as opposed to buying 1 new bar and using line extensions

while in the process I'm hoping to move the "V" in the front lines much lower to match the proper ozone setup.

thanks in advance for the advice!

I would use the Naish swivel instead of the choad ball and the Naish swivel also requires that extra wrap of the 2.5mm line when making the brummell splice onto the front line.
