Where is the best flat water kiteboarding beach in the virgin islands? or near by? for this summer 2013

Specs:

flatwater
transparent crystal clear water
prefer a beach house right in front of beach, but not necessary
* what i want is a flat water spot where i can drop my kite a million times, and just walk backup up without complications

any sugestions?

This may not be helpful since it is not in the Virgin Islands, but I rented a place like you describe in Islamorada FL Keys. It was right in the middle of the Key on the Atlantic side and was in the middle of the downwinder that people run there between Whale Harbor and Anne's Beach. There are miles of knee to waste deep water (tide dependent), and the house provided me with my own private beach with just enough room to keep 3 kites inflated by the house and easily self launch. It couldn't get much better for kiting. I will PM you the address if you are interested.

US or British Virgin Islands?

I spent time in the BVI's last year and to be honest there just aren't the conditions you are looking for. Maybe if you traveled up to Anegada but not anywhere else. Haven't kited in the USVI's though.

Anegada is also a great option.

I would look over the historical wind records for your destination as the wind in the VI can be off at times through the summer and light at other times. I believe the trades pump through most reliably in the cooler months. For true flat water Anegada in the BVI is about the only spot that immediately comes to mind without land wind shadow effects. You need to be in the lee of something to attenuate the waves but whatever it is you don't want it to disturb the air that much. Water clarity will like vary depending on wind and proximity to deeper water there.
