Saw that Mystic came with a harness specially for wave riding. Anyone tried it?

wondering the same thing, but! what bothers me is you have to take it off and turn it over, or am I getting it wrong? the Dynar bar system works for both regular and goofy, if you do have to take it off and turn it over, what since does it make?? please someone correct me if I am wrong

The 2Face is to be worn for which ever your preferred stance, but can't slide to both hips i.e. if you ride waves both regular and goofy. So you attach the solder bar according to regular or goofy, flip it 180 degrees and once it's set up that's how it's to be worn. Very few people actually ride waves both regular and goofy, maybe on a tt but not on a true directional.

The Dynabar does have the advantage of pulling either side plus also has other options like the fixed hook and ss slider bar etc on the latest XT models.

We have sold a lot of Dynabars and recently we've also started selling the 2Face but not had any feedback yet and I've not had a chance to try it yet either as still have another week with my leg in a cast!!

I've tried it on though and it certainly feels like it will work.

maybe the Dynbar has me spoiled, riding strapless goof and regular wave or flat, I love the ability to ride goof(which I am) then switch to regular having it move from one end of the harness to the next, makes me go up wind easier, stance feels more natural, easier on my back, stops the harness from riding up my waist and just feels damn good, having only one option while I ride doesn't make any sense to me.

Not sure looking at only the picture but for someone who doesn't ride goofy, it seems the hook does not flop down hence could be used for unhooking.

My biggest gripe and its the only one, is the inability to safely unhook using the dynabar.

Can anyone confirm this.

I use the fixed hook on the Dynabar XT when doing unhooked tricks but not so easy if doing unhooked wave riding.

The 2Face seems to stay in it's "track" so in theory should be good for unhooked wave riding. You'd just need to make sure the webbing is tight!

So, how does this harness feel while riding it?

Does the integrated bar pad work?

We sell both, they both have a place in the market bth we are getting better feedback on the Dynabar as it has more options but also more importantly it can slide both sides so making the movement much free-er.

Customers have also reported it is a bit "jerky" not smooth like the Dynabar...this was from a guy who changed from the Dynabar to Mystic (he left his harness in Brazil so bought a whole new 2face)

I've only tried one hanging from a beam so far.

But it is really a personal thing, I'm sure there will be some who will swear by the Mystic also.
