I have done those in the past they are pretty hard. I have been a gym rat for over a decade now. You really don't need to do any core exercises if you can kite often as kiting is very demanding on your core. All you need is one to two days a week and work on front and back rolls in both directions. This will give you the best total core work out you could ever have.

It is true that a lot of back problems are caused by weak abdominals compounded by belly fat. Kiting regularly can help both of these things. BUT if you have chronic or severe back pain it is best to see a doctor as you may have a more serious problem and exercise may not only be a bad idea but may cause more harm than good.
