:o :o You like lit up I guess. :-)

Just from how the low strut configurations works on their other kites (in high and gusty winds), I would not expect this to be an issue at all. That said...still waiting to check it out. Personally I believe it is a good choice to lower the weight. :-)

Get it  yes, then the 9-12 will be the possibility. I dont think I would like more sizes. They just need to fit the IKA 3 different kategories. And here 10-13 or 11-14 would make more sense.

Have only used the 12 and 14 so far and both have a great top end. Havent tested the kites in the low end yet. Even the 14 is a 3 strut it has no handling problem beeing overpowered. A really nice kite I must say.

It is a damm good race kite but In fact many riders would have more fun with the Draft over the Park because of its high performance.

Thanks for the input guys.

Weight will be reduced but a 10m is a good size for a bigger rider in my locale & a grunty 13m covers me for light wind days & when i want to ride absolutely fully lit which in WA Australia is the modus operandi.

Good to hear you are enjoying the kites Lander. I currently ride 2013 parks Taut so i understand that the 3 strut is good in high & gusty conditions just thinking the 5 strut will be more solid.

If you will use it for racing, I dont think you can have a 13 as your biggest kite for lightwind days. Sorry. Maybe for freeriding. But for race a 16 is minimum. 17 or 18 and even 19 for some prefered. If you only want a 2 kite set-up. Then maybe 11-15 is the one giving you the biggest possibilities? But 10-13 is a fine start, and makes it easy to ad a 17 when you realize you need it ;) That will be harder with the 11-15 combo. Here you will have to ad the 19 which could be a killer?
Regarding the Draft 14 I must say again, it is a damm good race kite even it only has 3 struts. As I wrote I was in the high end of the kite, and it did not miss 2 extra struts at all. Just had the advantage of a lighter kite. I am still smiling from my session yesterday :D Really looking forward to try the 17 to see if they have hit the hammer here as well. As it is somehow more difficult to make the bigger sizes work right. But the 17 I think will not be available before beginning of summer...

I should've said the racing is open ocean on surfboards or similar not race boards at this stage & i'm looking to supplement my quiver not replace it so i'll most likely keep my 8,10,14 parks & use the Draft's/Edges when i want grunt & ball tearing speed.

Get it ;) Then if I was you, I would just replace the 14 Park with the 14 Draft ?
