Socks will find any lines you leave laying around the house not secured inside a bag. He will then pull them off the bar and run them around furniture and make a giant snarled ball. Bad socks... not yarn. No!
Joking aside are you asking about the chafe guard on the ends you attach to the pigtails?

I guess you mean the sleeving on the end of the lines. If that's the case you can buy the sleeves along a sleeving tool in "fixmykite.com". I used it myself, it works perfectly. There is also a video on the same webpage that shows how is done.
