AGM minutes published online

The minutes of the 2012 class AGM held last weekend in Rome, Italy, have been published on the website. To access the pdf version including all graphics please click HERE

Important decisions on the future of the sport have been made, especially regarding the development of course racing equipment. All decision will be implemented in the class rules by ISAF within the next few weeks and officially published then. Changes have been already made to the Standard Sailing Instructions, which will also be included in the updated championship rules 2013.
The most important change is that riders may use 4 kites per event from now on, with not more than one kite per size range registered:
- 15m and larger
- 11m to 15m (including 11 and 15 on both ends)
- 11m and smaller
- 9m and smaller

For the slalom discipline, the PKRA will run a world tour, with the courses and rules also to be published soon.

The Wave riding discipline will see another year of the KSP, with the qualification process starting after the release of the 2013 KSP tour dates beginning of February.

Finally, the PKRA has released their 2013 calendar a few days ago and we are looking forward to another year of exciting freestyle competition at the finest locations around the world. The update to the freestyle judging criteria will also be incorporated in the updated 2013 championship rulebook.

Other topics included training, foilkiting, snowkiting and constitution. For all details, please refer to the pdf file of the minutes.
