I was just given a Wipika FreeAir 8.9. It's 2-line convertible to 4-line. I think it's 1999. But it's in brand new condition. Should I turn it into windsocks? That seems shameful.

If you send it to me I will enshrine it in an honored place in the Kite Museum

I think the Free Air didn't come around until a year or two later (could be wrong). I'd ride it a bit and get a taste of kitesurfing history. Maybe with some wakeboard boots on a picklefork wakeboard while wearing long pants.

a mate recently pulled out that exact kite to have a nostalgia trip, crazy thing is he still rides his picklefork with snowboard bindings. the line length was the big standout. But he had a ball and we didn't see any problems with going upwind etc.

please bring it to 3rd and lets have a "glory old days" session. I also bring my Yarga which is the oldest thing I still have under my belt in still rideable condition. I also bring one of my old woodies with me to get the appropriate feeling on the legs. Dont have a p"R"icklefork any more. The last one lost its fork to convert it to "regular" twin tip...
DONT destroy it.... PLEASE ....
