The New Cabrinha Velocity

Information about the New Cabrinha race kite is coming out. Phil Midler did an interview with Damien LeRoy about the new kite. Check it out, and you can pre order the kite now and be the first to have one. There will be a limited release in march.

The Velocity is nearly an identical copy of the Ozone Edge. Should be interesting to see how they stack up to each other. I've never flown race kites so not sure if I am missing out on anything.

This kite is very different to the Ozone Edge! The Ozone Edge is a Delta kite that looked at a bow kite. The Velocity is just a variation of the Xbow.

Also curious how it (18m offering) compares by weight with the 13m crossbow (actual weight in g), its probably still heavier due to the extra 5m2 of material.. marketed as a racekite but really a lightwind machine?

Does it come with std or extended line length? worthy opponent to the flysurfer 21 for over a grand less?
